- Overview
The SV-12-2 NCP is a normally closed, two-way, two-position pilot-operated cartridge solenoid valve designed for high-pressure hydraulic flow control.
The poppet-type construction provides reliable sealing and zero internal leakage. Its compact cartridge structure is suitable for installation in hydraulic manifolds, power units and mobile or industrial hydraulic systems.
Operating Principle
When the solenoid is de-energized, the valve functions as a check valve, allowing free flow from port 2 to port 1 while blocking flow from port 1 to port 2.
When the solenoid is energized, the pilot mechanism lifts the poppet and opens the controlled flow path from port 1 to port 2.
Manual Override
An optional manual override allows the valve to be operated without electrical power. Push the override button in, turn it counterclockwise and release it to hold the valve open.
To return the valve to normal operation, push the button in, turn it clockwise and release it.
