- Overview
The LSV-08-2 NC SP-L is a normally closed, two-way, two-position cartridge solenoid valve designed for bidirectional hydraulic flow control.
When de-energized, the valve blocks hydraulic flow in both directions. When energized, the poppet shifts to open the flow path, allowing oil to pass in either direction.
The compact cartridge design, low internal leakage and optional zero-leakage configuration make this valve suitable for hydraulic manifolds, power units and industrial or mobile hydraulic systems.
Operating Principle
In the de-energized position, the valve remains normally closed and blocks flow between ports 1 and 2.
When electrical power is applied to the solenoid coil, the poppet shifts and permits bidirectional flow between ports 1 and 2.
Manual Override
An optional push-button manual override allows the valve to be operated without electrical power. Push the button to activate the valve and release it to return the valve to its normal operating position.
