Overview

The SV-08-2 NCP is a normally closed, two-way, two-position pilot-operated cartridge solenoid valve designed for reliable hydraulic flow control.

When de-energized, the valve functions as a check valve. When energized, the poppet lifts from the valve seat and opens the controlled flow path.

Its compact cartridge construction, low internal leakage and optional manual override make it suitable for hydraulic manifolds, power units and mobile or industrial hydraulic systems.

Operating Principle

When the solenoid is de-energized, the valve acts as a check valve, allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 while blocking flow from port 1 to port 2.

When the solenoid is energized, the poppet lifts and opens the flow path from port 1 to port 2.

Manual Override

To operate the optional manual override, turn the override button counterclockwise two turns. The valve will remain open in this position.

To return the valve to normal operation, turn the override button clockwise two turns.
