- Overview
The SV2-08-2 NCP is a normally closed, two-way, two-position pilot-operated cartridge solenoid valve designed for reliable hydraulic flow control.
When de-energized, the valve operates as a check valve. When the solenoid is energized, the poppet lifts from its seat to open the controlled flow path.
Its compact cartridge structure, low internal leakage and optional manual override make it suitable for hydraulic manifolds, power units and industrial or mobile hydraulic systems.
Operating Principle
When the solenoid is de-energized, the valve acts as a check valve, allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking reverse flow from port 2 to port 1.
When the solenoid is energized, the poppet lifts from the valve seat and opens the flow path from port 2 to port 1.
Manual Override
An optional manual override allows the valve to be operated without electrical power. Push the button in, turn it counterclockwise and release it to keep the valve open.
To return the valve to normal operation, push the button in, turn it clockwise and release it.
